The Prisoner Cabernet Sauvignon, a distinct and new wine, is made in the same iconic style as the renowned The Prisoner Red Blend, Napa Valley's most recognized red blend. Redefining taste once again, this wine offers a unique experience.
Chrissy Wittmann, the Director of Winemaking, didn't initially set out to be a winemaker. Instead, she discovered her passion for winemaking in a lab. Intrigued by the subtle differences in soil and their impact on the nuances of wine, she was inspired to earn a master's degree in agriculture from California Polytechnic State University. Chrissy has now been in the wine industry for more than 20 years.
One 750 mL bottle of The Prisoner Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Red Wine contains five 5-oz servings of wine. This red grape wine boasts aromas and robust flavors of black cherry and ripe plum, layered with vanilla and baking spices. This red California wine has a lush, full mouthfeel and a long finish, making it an excellent pairing for grilled steak and roasted mushrooms.
